Well, most older bikes dont have catalytic converters so they emit more unburnt hydrocarbons, NOx and, CO, carburetors are not the cleanest things either.

i guess the difference is made up in overall fuel consumption.

We don't have seasons in California.  :D :D :D

You are lucky  no seasons

Here it changes  everyday  one week you ride the next you ski and the following one your back in shirts and shorts

OK  I'm exaggerating  a bit   :o

I live in Michigan, we have all 4 seasons in one day/week sometimes...

Anyway, I used to have a 1987 Mustang with the 2.3L 4 cylinder... 88 HP! 0 to 60 in 9 seconds!

I sold it recently and bought a 1992 Oldsmobile Toronado Trofeo. It's got a 3.8L v6, 170 HP and 250 lb/ft of torque... Much better, although the digital average MPG thing says I'm getting around 13.6 MPG... I think it's the horrible low speeds and start/stop traffic I'm in on the way to/from school...

that oldsmobile is rare like the odls cutlass 442 they made in the ninetys

Snagged this pic off the web....almost the same as mine, except this looks like the upgraded model as it has fog lights and nicer rims...and mine is 'Black Sapphire' in colour.   2008, Saturn Astra XE 5-door.  I could've taken a photo I suppose, except that it's 3:35am and dark out and I also know my car is currently dirty and covered in bird sh*t!
