So im 6'7 or 6'8 somewhere in there. im a complete noob to motorcycles. ive always wanted one, the only bike ive road was a 250cc 4 stroke dirtbike and that was years ago. im 18 years old as well. i dont want a bike that had balls amount of power, i want something to get to know how to bike and have fun, and from what ive watched on m13's youtube, he says get something like a ninja 250 or so. now what i want to know, is it a bad idea for a first time motorcycler on the road, is it bad to get a 2 stroke first? because i do like to go fast, but if thats not a good idea then im fine with a 4 stroke. but back to the question, what bike would fit me? im not "big" im pretty skinny just really tall.

A 150/250 2stroke is actually a nice learner bike, as there's generally no power at all down low, so you can put around without getting into too much trouble. There is, however, a lethal kick at 8krpm+ but once you get used to the bike, you will only ride between 8-redline anyway

If you have the patience to deal with repairs etc. I say get one, I love mine. I have however seized mine 3 times in the past 6months. The latest being last week, where she seized up doing 170kmph on the highway, 170kmph fishtail is fun.

Your height won't really make any difference to general riding, just the ability to tuck in. My friend rides an nsr and is 6ft5

Make sure you can obtain parts prior to buying one. As most 2strokes are going on 20years old now. So parts are becoming harder and harder to get. And you WILL need at the very least regular pistons/rings.

Not really sure what to advise here, if you can find a 2stroke sport bike in decent shape and you don't mind doing you're own maintenance and more of it than a 4 stroke would require. I say go for it. Where do you live? Most of the time where you live is gonna dictate you're options for beginner bikes.
Whether you get a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke, keep in mind something. You might wanna look for something that has aftermarket rearsets (peg mounting structure for you're foot controls). Reason for this is that you can adjust you're foot pegs lower and farther back. Being a taller guy it would be more comfortable for you. Otherwise you're knees are gonna be in you're chest on stock sets i would think.

sorry i havnt replyed been busy. its not that im totaly like I WANT A 2 STROKE. i live in michigan btw. but im thinking about just buying a new ninja 250 though, 4 grand aint that much if you think about it.
