Hehe yah. I am a Suzuki lover but only the SV650 with fairings since I'm not really a fan of the naked version of that bike.

me too i dnt really like the naked version of the sv650 the headlights are just bad but i like the naked ninja 650 but the exhaust is just bad hahaha so i guess its either i find a kawi with a different exhaust or ill just take the sv650 with a stock ( i really admire the stock exhaust of the sv650 coz its sounds bassy and quiet)

I assume you have sat on both bikes and are ok with both of them? If not I would recommend going to a dealership and sit on both of them and try them out and that could be what makes you decides on the bike you like the best.

Here is what ive found on different size's

You're constantly interchanging 2 strokes and 4 strokes which in america isnt as relevant but it gets confusing with you talking about all the motogp stuff and the such. it was 500cc 2 stroke inline 4's which could probably stay up there with 600 to 900 4 stroke inline 4's. As with my ex500 i find it lacking alot of horespower from the gp level bikes...

Alright, got a question you guys!

I'm currently riding a '79 Suzuki GS750L(First motorcycle, rode a dirtbike as a kid to play around)

And I'm thinking of moving to an '07 GSX-R 600.

Bad move, or safe, seeing as I've been riding the 750?

Also, changing over, because I'm not feeling it anymore. Had dreams of a Cafe Racer, heh.

Thanks for any and all advice!

As a fellow noob rider ;D (5 months & 5000 miles in the saddle) I can only offer you one piece of advice; Practise, practise, practise. Find an empty parking lot and go there atleast two times a week to practise low speed maneuvering (figure eights, U-turns etc.), emergency braking, and swerving. A 15-20 minutes session at a time is enough and it pays in dividends. There are almost 300 safety tips on this page;
http://www.msgroup.org/articles.aspx
- written by an experienced MSF instructor. I have read them all a couple of times, and I'm re-reading them again. Welcome to the "club"!
