Heya,

Would like something like that but still a few weeks away from my licence :(
why in the world is the Aprilia 125 more expensive then the ninja 250r/cbr250r?

I know on netrider.net.au there is a group that meets on sundays and they go through the MOST test and do some rides I believe

As per I think, Aprilia's RS 125 are one of the best 2 stroke LAM bikes available, absolutely fun to ride both on road & track (considering on Ls we dont go to da tracks) Little monster on high revs, light weight, good @ taking corners, often mistaken for a bigger bike overall a good & fastest learner bike..
Also netriders organize MOST & rides, but my intentions are to meet the locals for a casual hang out ride..
keep us updated when u get ya Ls & Bike..

Cheers

Will do,

I guess if I looked at the specs instead just the price I would've noticed it was a 2 stroke.
I'm still in the early stages of getting resources and researching what to get, kinda torn between the ninja250r and the cbr250r but there is a little voice in my head saying just get a cheap commuter to learn on and then get an 250

I got a '96 ZZR 250 for $800, when I started riding and I've spent less than $1000 on it so far including rego and it goes great, if price is an issue consider looking at a used bike.
I'm in Newcastle but ride down the Pacific Highway once a month so wouldn't mind meeting up.
PS Max speed new is 170 kph. 14 years later I've gotten it up to 160+kph. No wobbles or vibrations.
