For me, if/when i get my bike, i'll be doing mostly city commuting from home to campus. and the only route is this long major street called "Yonge Street" (apparently known for it's long long road in north america? iunno, i'll have to check to see if this rumor is true).
and during rush hour, this city blood vessel is clogged as always. so for me, air cooled will be risky, since i'm such a good boy and obey the laws :D (<-- we'll see how long this lasts hahaha)

be don't get me wrong, i personally like the design of the hyosung. my other friends are so fixated on ninja 250r that they don't approve hyosung, but hell they can't stop me! it's my money! haha

my mindset is: if you have a bike, you're cool. don't matter if you have a Gixxer or a vespa, you're cool... (k *maybe* not vespa, but you get what i mean lol)

happy riding drkstar00~

Oh hey guys, sry for the 'no posts' in a while, I'm actually spending every spare second riding believe it or not.

I'm still having a blast.

I've had no issues with the bike, and had my first service at about 1700 kms -she now has about 4,100 kms on her.

I'm more comfortable with riding in general, so I've been practicing cornering, and yesterday, I had her at around 151 km on backroads with loads of room to spare.

The rpms were around 9000 I think, and I only eased off of the throttle due to the 'chicken factor' -hey, I'm still learning! ;)

To date:

I removed the side decals, but was never happy with any design I put on it afterwards, so I've got the originals reordered from the dealer.

I picked up a camera suction cup thingy so I can attach a camera to helmet or tank.

Every frickin' person I meet gives me super thumbs up for the look of the bike...

I'm gonna go on a group ride -weather permitting- tomorrow evening.

More to follow...

Oh, I did notice a -pretty minor I'm guessing- issue the other day. It looks like the front indicator light casing came away from the rubber holder thingy, so there's a slight gap that could let water in. I can push it in, but it would need to be glued or something.

Very nice. Once I get out of Marines basic training I'll most likely get the white hyosung gt250r, hope you're still on the forums by then... :P

Hey guys:

Just a quick update: everything is working fine, and I'm still having a blast. I turn heads wherever I go and the Hyosung's performance is top notch. Thumbs way up! :)

Congrats man, glad to see you're enjoying the ride :)
Sounds like you're putting a lot of miles on her and honestly that is the only real way to really improve skills.
People can read and do all the research they want but there is no substitute for road time.
The Hyosung seems to rip off the styling of the Suzuki Gsxr right down to the red G sticker on the side.
Which is not a bad thing cause the Gxsr has always been a head turner.
