Random question....
If i do get the 69 Jetta or the Audi...
I want to make it a rally car 'replica' so i can go offroad with it.
Would it be a good idea to get it lifted a couple inches? 2-4inches? Just a suggestion.

Yes it would be a good idea for offroading.
Just keep in mind that it will effect the handeling onroad.

Higher of the ground means a higher center of gravity.
If your don't change your spring rate and rebound of your shocks the car will feel a little less stable.
more chassis roll, front dip under hard braking and stuff.

but if you are refering that i will only want to mod it to be a rally car just so it looks cool no.
I will actually bring it to the track and race around in it. Not all crazy like real rallying but just for fun.

Dude, if it's for commuting to work and school why the hell would you want to offroad it or make it into some sort of rally car? People buy cars specifically for that and spends lots of time and money on them just to go a couple times a month at the most.

Im not going to blow off thousands of dollars on it. and it was just a question. Im not realistically going to do that lol. would be something cool to think of it.
