They are if you feel like shelling out money just for a name brand.

Buy the parts and put it together yourself, you will have a better computer for less.

Seems a bit much for 1600 bucks. Do you need a new monitor? That'll save 200. And no after-stock CPU cooler? Shame on /v/

Id recommend going for the HX850 Corsair power supply over the TX950.

It's a much higher quality PSU and it has the added bonus of being modular (once you get a modular PSU you will never get one that's not again...trust me).
For SLI GTX 570's you don't need a 950 watt PSU anyways. 850 would be more then enough. It is a tiny bit more money, but well worth it IMO.

And if you pay your own utility bills, you'll likely get the money back in electrical bill savings as the PSU is a lot more efficient too.
Aside from that I see no problems with that configured computer build.

Ok, thanks for you're opinions and advice :D

The price on that website is parts taken only from it, i'll probably find the parts cheaper at other websites.

Modular PSU's are amazing. Just put one in the new PC  I put together and I'll never go back. Sadly mine isn't in my pc.

I jelly. I went the cheap route and bought an ATI 5770 with 1gb ram. It's pretty awesome all things considered.

Gonna take me a few days to get rid of all this annoying crap I imagine. Hopefully after it will be fine. . . .
