Thinking about getting a sports bike for your first motorcycle? Read here first.

I just snatched this from motovlog.com ... Its pretty much a copy & paste, and a quick spell check, but something I agree with whole heartedly.
You would do well to read it.

One of the most common questions new sport bike riders have is, “What kind of sport bike should I get?â€

It's more fun to LIVE life than to just cruise through it. People who play by the rules are in nature the same baby locked away securely in that protective, warm womb.

I can vouch for the ninja 250's as a new bike. Great power without being too jumpy. Low, low, insurance. And most people don't know the difference between it and a faster bike.
99 Ninja 250 yall.

When i get a job, start college and need a vehicle, i'll probably be looking for a ninja 250. I'll want a smaller bike more suitable for commuting that'll enable me to put money away for college courses. I was thinking about just buying a scooter, but i decided a smaller motorcycle would be better. I might buy a 50cc eventually too just to get my friends out with me.

you can if you pass your A2 before you turn 21, then you are restricted to 33 bhp for 2 years.

Good read.  I personally think the best decision I ever made was starting on a Ninja 500 and then going to a supersport.

I'll be starting on a trusty cg125 or a cbr125 :P I do like the thought of
a Ninja 650 in the future though!

Excellent article.
Hopefully people will actually read this and actually take heed of it when rushing off to buy their first bike.

When does a perceptual schematic become consciousness? When does a difference engine
become the search for truth? When does a personality simulation become the bitter mote... of a soul?

Yeah this article pretty much is the end of discussion for new riders on super sports.
It points out everything we have been trying to tell these people in detail.
Starting on a supersport will teach u nothing about how to actually ride a motorcycle, because as a beginner your going to be trying to stop the bike from killing u, as opposed to being able to actually ride the bike correctly with confidence.
U can tell the people who start out on supersports, they cant corner for shit, poor throttle control, the list goes on and on.
The other day i seen 2 20 year old kids on supersports in best buys parking lot.
No helmets, and as they exited the parking lot 1 of them pulls a short 15 mph wheelie out of the parking lot.
I just did a captain picard facepalm and was like wow what a fucking moron, i give that bike 3 months tops and then it will be trashed.
