A lot of people use them not just for entertainment, but for therapeutic reasons, they are a great de-stressor for some.  Would u say that doing something that makes u less stressed and prevents u from going on some psycho postal rampage and killing everyone at your work is a waste of time?  A little over exaggeration sure, buy it's to make a point. :)

That doesn't mean it's not a waste of time.  I was just saying that for some people it's a good waste of time... for others it's a bad waste of time.

Lol, I guess I can see that, haha I think it depends on your definition of wasting time...

Yup... depends on what your perceived purpose in life is. If you want to be a pro gamer, then it's not a waste of time, it's a career path. If you want to be Mother Theresa, then it's a waste of time. And 'course there's everything in between, it's not black and white.

You could expand on that to include bikes and scooters (and potentially 3 wheelers).

If you're riding anything over a 50cc (here in Aus), you've got to have a bike licence.  Just because their seating position is slightly different, why shouldn't we acknowledge each other with a nod of the head, or a friendly wave?

Hey mordeth you rock :) - as a new rider I find taking bends at speed scary as he'll, my chicken strips are more chicken breasts.
Please help, the roads you rip up seem ideal for some knee down action.

Your a legend, ride safe :)

How about... public transportation?  Do lots of people ride the bus in Taiwan?  Is there light rail / subways?  Trains?  Do they have a concept of public transportation, or is private transportation (scooter, moto, car) pretty much the standard?

I did a search for the word "transportation" and got 0 results.  Found that slightly weird...

Okay, okay.  I got one I think you might actually like.

Ride two-up... with the camera helmet on your passenger.  Get their reaction to your riding.  Their thoughts.  Etc.

I dunno.  I got nothin'.  Seemed like a good idea when I started typing, now that I'm finishing, I'm undecided.
