In your CBT to they teach you how to ride a geared 50cc?  And what does in mean when it says to take the two parts of your driving license with you when you go?
Thanks

No, mostly only scoots as 50's.
Then geared 125's.

Card part and paper counterpart.

ALK, Yes very much welcome.

Got to do my CBT again. For the third time. I should just do the proper test.

Effort though.

I was looking at the Directgov website and I am a little confused. If you have a full UK drivers license (for cars) do you need to apply for a provisional motorcycle license? I know that if you passed your drivers test before 2001 then you do not need a to take CBT but it is recommended. I passed in 2007 so I definitely know I need CBT but not sure about the learner's license.

no you don't need another one. But you do need the paper counterpart of your license (the green paper the driving license came on ... its proof of your provisional entitlement)

Thanks a lot, I was about to squander 50 quid

Hey,

i passed my CBT today. I would strongly recommend all of the riders in the north east of england and the south east of scotland to go to eyemouth training school. Terry Smith the instructor is the man to meet he helped me with all my questions and offered help in the future when i get a bigger bike etc. He provdides all equipment needed and i would strongly recommend him to anyone who is in need of a CBT.

Cheers, Alex

Forgot to say congratulations....CONGRATULATIONS!!!! :D

my friend told me to do the restricted so i can ride my own bike and it's easier to pass =/ however i dunno he talks a bit of crap sometimes like " oh no 125s are far less agile than my 600 because they're too light " .... wtf?!
