Walking about in the dark with your flashlight just draws in AI like a moth to a flame anyway.....

And yeah, i didn't like ClearSky... there was no individual AI entity in that game... the AI entities governed the factions so all the STALKERs & animals in the zone seamed like bots/drones following orders instead of making their own decisions... Not to mention every mutant group was stick on your PDA map... wtf were they thinking?!

Again, luckily theres mods like factional warfare that fix stuff like that. If nothing else - you gotta admire the community.

Well the reviews say it's better than the first one, and the first is considered better than the 2nd. So I guess we won't be seeing Scram for awhile.

I own SoC and CS ,but I got to say that the latest game in the series is better than others,couldn't notice any bugs and the story was good as well.Call of pripyat is definitely recommended

I just downloaded S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl, I've been playing it for a few hours now and it's pretty good. Are there any mods I should add to make the game better? I'm not playing with any right now.

I just bought Shadow of Chernobyl 2 days ago, I was waiting for it to get cheaper on Steam but then I happened to go into Big Lots to look for cheap movies and they had it there for $3. I dont know how they do it but every once in a while they will have games that are still like $25 everywhere else for $3 or $4 and they are new and in original packaging.

I couldn't be borthered getting into the game much. It just seemed like a "go there, kill 15 of those, come back, go somewhere else, kill 20 of those" type of thing. I installed Oblivion lost and it's pretty cool. I just started the game and the army raided the camp and killed everyone.... I am hiding in a roof and can't get out... I feel like Anne Frank or something.

Edit: as it turns out it wasn't a raid, they just chased me down after I fired at them and ran back to the camp.

I started playing again yesterday with a mod called Faction Front.
It's supposed to be a lot more faction war orientated.
I aint seen anything great yet other than the usual graphics overhaul.
Ow yea nades, the AI now like to throw nade now! Cant hide behind trees long.
