Who would've thought, that you'd crash if you slam the brakes completely on a wet surface.

I don't mind people stunting and such, but I do mind it when they do this kind of stuff on highly trafficed public streets...also..wear your jacket you Jackass.

Yikes...so looked to me like he got too much break heading into the turn? Anybody want to give a more experienced analysis?

I love to see people getting skin shredded off their skin because of their stupidity.

Well if u look closely he approaches the turn entirely wrong, the proper motion for any corner is outside, turn into the apex, accelerate back
out.
He is obviously a new rider not accustomed to cornering hard.
He approaches from the wrong side giving himself no room to lean, on top of that he does his breaking as he enters the turn not before as u are supposed to.
He realizes he cannot make the turn because of the incorrect approach then panics and hits the brakes hard which stands the bike right up into the guardrail.

From this diagram u can see the correct motion is the same whether u intend to take the corner, fast, slow, or at normal speed the motion is always the same.
Outside,inside,outside.
Its always shocking to me how many new and older so called more experienced riders do not follow this process when cornering.

Yeah I see what you mean, he came up on the corner on the far inside of the lane. I figured the lass of traction came from hard breaking.

Outside-inside-outside is what they preach at the MSF

Also if u notice in the video hes riding in formation with other riders.
Normal pack riding dictates a staggered left right formation, but during corners your supposed to go single file so everyone can use proper technique.
Clearly this rider is just inexperienced which is why its dangerous to pack ride with new riders.

People who ride bicycles like this deserve to be hit by cars.
If your gonna ask to be giving the same rights as a car u need to use the same rules of the road.
I often see bicyclists run red lights right into oncoming traffic where i live, and they never stop for stop signs.
I wouldn't feel a little bit sorry for someone who gets crippled riding like that.

I wouldn't say they deserve to be crippled, but if something happened to them it would be fully their fault and i'm sure they understand that. I really don't think these cyclists are the type that care about equal road usage.
