Hey all, this is my first post.

I own a Kawasaki EN500. It is my first bike and used to commute to work while I save up enough money for the Suzuki M800 (M50 to Americans), so compliments to the M800 shown here.

I don't have a picture of my bike, but here is a link to anybody who doesn't know what they are like... http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/Galler ... 0%2087.jpg

The difference from this one and mine is that I have put straight drag bars on it. I'm not comfortable with the pulled-back lazy bars. That's why I like the M800 - cruiser performance with muscle/drag bike looks after one or two slight modifications.

I love that! Are they still making them or is there any newer models I might want to look at? I'm torn on this whole cruiser thing =x

Yea they still making them, they haven't change any!!!!!!!! I personally think they are a much better bike than a rebel. It IS a V-Twin!!!  Nobody that looks at my bike can believe its only a 250, i think thats because of the v-twin. It only weighs 300 pounds.Great beginner bike IMHO. Top end is about 80mph.

Thanks. I LOVE the appearance of the M50. It rides really well too. As of yet, I've not found too many cruisers that are up to par with the thing in the corners, and I get a lot of "I don't like cruisers, but that one is cool looking"

Yeah, I think I said that to ya as well but its true. I HATE cruisers but I can realy appreciate the way trinith's looks. And the way any of them look come to think of it. And I absolutely love the new Kawasaki 2008 Vulcan Mean Streak. They have one of those in the shop here and I actually like it alot!

I wouldn't count them as cruisers, really, because they tend to ride differently. My GS850G was actually sold as a sport touring bike. Of course, Suzuki first started making it in the late 70s and was their first "sport touring". It's basically a touring frame with a sport engine, heh.

Nice bike, looks worse than mine did when I got mine :P I hope to get mine back soon, I miss it :(
