Nice colors on the CBR.  Here's the bike I was riding:

Image

It's a 2008 Lifan LF200-III (rebranded as Galata GRX-200)

And the one I ride now:

a 2003 Kawasaki ZZR-600, which I bought earlier this month.  Only had 1470 miles on it and I've put over 500 miles on it since  :P I ride it nearly every day to work, ride it to the gym, then go for a quick ride after that.

Just pointing out, no need to whip it out.  Most people that cover it up do so for privacy reasons.

can anyone tell me why people actually care about covering up their plates in photos and stuff? i mean really... if i see you driving down the road i can get your plate... if i drive by your house i can get your plate and address... so why does it really matter?

Just makes plate cloning easy, i mean sure if someone saw your bike in the street or whatever they could do the same, but in an organised crime kind of way, browsing forums to get bike make/model, paint schemes and plates just makes it easy.

I don't know if it's a problem or anything in the US as i really don't know how your registration system works over there, but it can be a problem here in the UK with speed cameras, congestion charging zones and all that kind of crap.

what's a congestion charging zone? Someplace where if you cough or sneeze you have to pay a fine?

I think I'll take my bike up north and take a few snappy's with Scotlands Highlands as a backdrop  :D
